Outstanding Exmoor Country House |
|
The Dunkery Beacon country house has truly breathtaking views that stretch from the Brendon Hills to Robin How, Dunkery Beacon and beyond. Nestled in south facing hills within the enchanting village of Wootton Courtenay, this Exmoor country house was originally built as an Edwardian Hunting Lodge and is the perfect place for a relaxing holiday within the beauty of Exmoor National Park. After a day spent walking or exploring, relax by a roaring log fire or sit in lovely gardens and enjoy the wonderful views, all set within the peace and tranquillity of the National Park. |

Our love and association with Exmoor extends over 40 years and little has changed. Derek is a keen rider and has a great knowledge of the wildlife on Exmoor especially red deer. He loves to talk about the many places that will delight and interest you over tea and homemade cake! My passion is being out with the spaniels across the moor. I know many walks (with or without watering holes enroute) to recommend to you. We both look forward to welcoming you to our home and making your break with us as relaxing and enjoyable as possible |
